Ruth Thomas with Criw Celf Denbighshire

On 21 March, we used a new venue for us, the Village Hall in Trefnant, where we worked with the artist Ruth Thomas. The hall worked really well, with lots of space to set up the printing facilities and for the group to spread out and make their stencils. We focussed on landscapes, in particular the Clwydian Range, although some members used their own images they had brought in with them. Each member produced two or three final pieces, with landscapes being overlaid with stencils of natural objects or animals in some cases. The finished pieces are beautiful, well done year 7!!
