Hannah Coates, Denbighshire Year 7, 25 April

Year 7 members came together at Ruthin Craft Centre on 25 April and explored the Fritz Maierhofer exhibition on display at the centre. Hannah encouraged the group to look at the forms and ideas used by Maierhofer and to develop these in their own work. Back in the Education Room, the group had access to a wonderful array of recycled materials, which they put to excellent use, creating a variety of sculptural jewellery pieces.
